The sixth Amels 60 superyacht has been launched in the Netherlands.

Damen Yachting has successfully launched the newest Amels 60, identified as hull 6006, at their primary facility in Vlissingen, Holland. This represents the sixth yacht in the next-generation 60m (197ft) Amels Limited Editions series.

The Amels 60 Limited Editions features an innovative design based on the reliable naval architecture of Damen Yachting. The exterior design, crafted by renowned naval architect Espen Øino, combines expertise, sophistication, and creativity.

Design and Performance

The bespoke interiors of this Amels 60 are created by Winch Design, as chosen by the yacht’s owner. After its launch, the yacht will go through final preparations at the Damen Yachting yard and is expected to be delivered by the end of 2024.

The Amels 60 features a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots. It can comfortably house up to 12 guests, in addition to the captain and a crew of 12.

Since its debut in 2019, the Amels 60 has received several awards and international acclaim for its innovative design and customizable interior features. The Amels 60 + 80 Limited Editions New Wave recently secured the Asia Style Award for Superyachts in the 60-80m range.
