ISA Yachts Celebrates Viper 130 Milestone
ISA Yachts, a division of Palumbo Superyachts, has reached a significant stage in the construction of its inaugural Viper 130 model. The hull has now arrived at the company’s Ancona, Italy facility, where it will undergo outfitting. This development marks a pivotal moment for the brand, which introduced the Viper line in May 2024. The 37.7-meter planing yacht was quickly acquired by an American client, facilitated by Zarpo Yachts, who previously handled the sale of a Columbus Crossover model from ISA’s sister brand.
The Viper 130 is part of a broader strategy by ISA Yachts to expand its offerings in the high-performance yacht segment. The model’s arrival in Ancona signifies the transition from design to tangible reality, setting the stage for the detailed outfitting process. This milestone underscores the brand’s commitment to precision engineering and client satisfaction, as the vessel moves closer to its anticipated launch.
Innovative Design Features of the Viper 130 Yacht
The Viper 130 boasts a thoughtfully designed cockpit, segmented into three functional zones. These include a lounge area with sofa seating and side-opening balconies, an al fresco dining space accommodating eight guests, and a beach club featuring a multifunctional transformer. Additionally, the yacht is equipped with a combined galley and bar, separated by a tinted glass partition, ideal for both show cooking and casual gatherings.
Accommodation is provided across five cabins on the lower deck, with the owner’s suite offering flexible configurations. It can be positioned amidships to utilize the 7.9-meter beam or in the bow to incorporate a spacious walk-in closet. The main deck enhances the yacht’s livability with floor-to-ceiling windows, a second combined bar-galley, and a saloon furnished with semi-circular sofas and a 10-seater table. A unique port-side walkway and a midship balcony further enhance the onboard experience by providing direct ocean views.
Performance and Specifications of the Viper 130 Model
The Viper 130 is engineered for impressive performance, equipped with three MAN or MTU engines. This configuration enables the yacht to achieve a maximum speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots, catering to clients seeking both speed and efficiency. The sundeck complements this performance with a second helm station, expansive sunpads, and a lounge area complete with an L-shaped bar and a 12-seater table.
Additional features include a bow area with a circular pool, sunloungers, and sofa seating, offering a variety of relaxation options. A garage on the starboard side accommodates a five-meter tender, ensuring practicality alongside performance. The Viper line, which also includes the Viper 100 and Viper 140 models, represents ISA Yachts’ commitment to innovation and excellence in yacht design and engineering.
The Viper 130’s arrival at ISA Yachts’ Ancona facility marks a crucial step in the vessel’s journey from concept to completion. With its innovative design and robust performance capabilities, the Viper 130 is poised to make a significant impact in the market, reflecting ISA Yachts’ dedication to delivering exceptional maritime experiences.
