German Luxury Brand Partners With Italian Builder On New Three-Model Range
German luxury mobility brand BRABUS and Italian builder AB Yachts have unveiled the first 33.7-metre BRABUS AB 110 superyacht at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026, marking the debut of a new collaborative range that fuses high-performance engineering with distinctive automotive-inspired design. The partnership represents a significant expansion of both companies’ portfolios, introducing a carefully curated three-model lineup designed to appeal to owners seeking cutting-edge technology wrapped in unmistakable styling. The BRABUS AB 110 serves as the centrepiece of this new collection, flanked by the 28.9-metre BRABUS AB95 and the 45.7-metre BRABUS AB150, which will make its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2027. Each model in the range reflects the collaborative philosophy: engineering excellence from AB Yachts combined with BRABUS’ signature approach to design, detail and individuality.

The yacht’s exterior immediately signals its BRABUS heritage. A striking carbon-fibre hull is complemented by an illuminated BRABUS roof spoiler that commands attention from every angle. Exposed-carbon front wings, bespoke design details along the port and starboard sides and LED lights integrated into the front of the superstructure create a cohesive visual language that extends the brand’s automotive DNA into the marine realm. This is not a yacht that whispers; it announces itself with confidence and precision. The stern area has been engineered as a fully functional water-sports platform. The design accommodates a jet tender and one full-sized, three-seat jet ski, with additional equipment stored in secondary compartments and under-hatch spaces. An integrated winch and roller system allows the crew to guide tenders and watercraft directly toward the water for seamless launch and retrieval. Once all desired equipment is deployed, the entire aft platform transforms into a spacious sea-level beach area and lounge directly at the water’s edge, creating an intimate connection between vessel and ocean.
The main deck layout prioritises relaxation and social engagement. A large sunpad and additional seating area at the bow create a private open-air retreat with uninterrupted views across the water. A further aft seating area provides a second space for socialising and relaxation at the water’s edge. Exterior upholstery features the signature BRABUS triangle quilting, a design motif borrowed from the brand’s legendary supercars and applied here with meticulous attention to detail. Access to the expansive sundeck, which also functions as a flybridge, is provided by two carbon-fibre stairways. This flexible space is equipped with two large sunpads, spacious seating areas and two carbon-fibre tables, ideal for dining or drinks. Two large integrated storage compartments keep the deck free from visual clutter, maintaining the clean aesthetic that defines modern superyacht design.
Inside, the yacht features a signature BRABUS Masterpiece ambience that pairs generous proportions with design details inspired by BRABUS supercars. Two large sofas define the main social and living space, while a dedicated eight-person dining table creates a central setting for dining and entertainment. A separate bathroom completes the main saloon area, ensuring guest comfort and convenience. Accommodation is provided for up to 10 guests across five cabins. An owner’s cabin on the lower deck provides a private retreat, complete with a connected master bedroom and wardrobe area. Two additional guest cabins, each with its own connected bathroom, are complemented by a separate VIP cabin with an additional bathroom. Crew are housed across two cabins and have access to a dedicated mess area, reflecting the operational requirements of a modern superyacht.
Performance is where the BRABUS AB 110 truly distinguishes itself. The yacht can be powered by up to three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each producing 1,939kW / 2,600hp. The combined output of 5,817kW / 7,800hp enables the yacht to reach a maximum speed of 48 knots. A state-of-the-art waterjet propulsion system translates this output into a dynamic driving experience, while advanced stabilisation technology enhances onboard comfort during high-speed cruising or challenging sea conditions. Signature BRABUS details extend to the helm. A bespoke steering wheel and driver’s seat are upholstered in Masterpiece leather, finished with the brand’s characteristic quilting. A centrally positioned BRABUS Masterpiece badge further cements the brand’s identity at the heart of the vessel’s command centre.
Giorgio Mattei, deputy chairman of Next Yacht Group, commented on the collaboration: “The BRABUS AB range is the result of a genuine exchange between our teams, bringing together our engineering know-how and experience on the water with BRABUS’ unmistakable approach to design, detail and individuality. What we are presenting in Monaco is not simply one yacht, but the beginning of a range and of a collaboration that we believe has significant potential for the future.” Exclusive BOATPro data for AB Yachts shows two yachts currently under construction at the shipyard, including a 39.7-metre AB 130 motor yacht, one of four AB 130 yachts on order. Earlier this year, the shipyard delivered the first unit from its 28.5-metre AB 95S series, Goldeneye, to her owners. The yacht is characterised by a more aggressive silhouette and boasts a top speed of 53 knots, demonstrating AB Yachts’ commitment to performance-driven design across its portfolio. The launch of the BRABUS AB range signals a new chapter in superyacht collaboration, where automotive luxury meets maritime engineering to create vessels that appeal to owners who refuse to compromise on style, performance or substance.
